Do you ever stop and reflect from time to time away from the daily hustle and bustle? Taking time for “self” is always essential and at times very rewarding too. We all need a place where we can quiet our minds and tune out life so to speak. Its okay to enjoy a long walk alone, read an interesting book, or even indulge yourself in a much needed massage. No matter which outlet you choose be certain you are allowing yourself the satisfaction of embracing and absorbing something which does the body good. Treating yourself to a simple ice cream cone or a movie alone may be all you need to get yourself back on track before returning to life’s normal routine.
It’s okay to stop and take a shopping excursion too. You don’t always have to run out and purchase a ton of stuff or retrieve every article of clothing that Suzanne has in her well unorganized mess of a war zone she refers to as her closet or wardrobe cabinet. Sometimes its just necessary to grab a cute shirt to go with that old pair of jeans from last Spring that you can suddenly fit now!
Pushing away from the table turning down that second slice of smothered steak with gravy and potatoes or saying “no” to that scrumptious and beautiful strawberry cheesecake Nana made from scratch two weeks ago has finally paid off! You deserve to treat yourself and enjoy at least some gratification that affords you some form of happiness. After all you’ve earned it. Now relish in it and define the inner you. It’s somewhere waiting to release and emerge fierce yet, endlessly.
Now when you stop to reflect you may wanna pick up some comfortable shoes if you don’t already have a pair. Shoes are essential to any wardrobe and they certainly can compliment and or take away from an outfit. In essence we must make sure we purchase just the right ones! Unlike me, I don’t stop long enough to wear comfy shoes and that is something I am definitely working on. Some neat shoes that come to mind are the favorite of all times. Yeah, you guessed it right! The Converse Chuck Taylor are totally awesome! They come in a multitude of colors and designs and the price is somewhat affordable. If you find their price is completely out of your price range, you can always substitute for a basic low cut canvas shoe that mimics the Chuck.
I find it a great challenge to relax in my cutesy heels but the good news is, I can always take them off! Ha ha ha. Meanwhile ensure you have a pair of relaxation! Well, they are not actually called relaxation but they certainly can fool even me! The low cut canvas is so feminine and solely reminds your feet just how precious and valuable they really are. You can often find these cuties in various stores and or online websites. Just keep in mind if you want total relaxation your shoes and how your feet respond to you will make all the difference in the world. So this Summer stop and please, think comfy.
